Funds raised for Monash Children’s Hospital are used for vital programs, services, and other supports that ensure our patients and their families receive world-class care.

Funds raised at the 2026 Monash Children's Hospital Walk will support our paediatric rheumatology team, which cares for children and adolescents with a wide variety of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system (muscles and joints) and conditions of inflammation.

With your support of the 2026 Walk, we can purchase a dedicated musculoskeletal point-of-care ultrasound machine for paediatric rheumatology care – an Australian-first initiative.

The machine will allow the team to make real-time assessments of tendons, muscles and joints, enabling earlier diagnosis and more precise treatment of conditions.

For families, this means faster, clearer answers, reduced uncertainty, less time spent at hospital appointments and a simpler path to treatment.
